Cole's is based right here in Bossier City. Melissa and Daniel take every call themselves, and they've been handling north Louisiana pests for over 30 years.
Bossier City has its own pest pressures. The heat and humidity off the Red River bottom push mosquitoes hard from March through October. Fire ant mounds re-emerge every spring in yards that had them the year before. American roaches get into homes along the older street grids near Barksdale Boulevard. And rodents find their way in every fall as temperatures drop.
Cole's has been working these neighborhoods for over 30 years. They know which blocks tend to have subterranean termite pressure, which subdivisions near the river bottom deal with the worst mosquito seasons, and what time of year fire ants need to be treated before they build back up.
"Cole's really knows what they are doing and are very responsive to calls and questions. They treated our yard for ants, as we are tired of being invaded!"
— Renae Quick, Bossier City
North Louisiana's climate keeps pests active almost year-round. Here's what Cole's handles most in Bossier City.
Bossier City yards deal with fire ants every spring. Store-bought mound killers only get the ants on top. The queen moves a few feet and starts over. Cole's uses Top Choice, a yard-wide application that controls fire ants for up to a year.
Fire ant treatmentThe low-lying streets near the Red River bottom in Bossier City deal with some of the worst mosquito pressure in the area. Monthly barrier treatments through the season are the only thing that holds.
Mosquito controlArgentine ants get into kitchens along counter edges and plumbing. American roaches are common near older foundations and slab homes. A quarterly plan keeps the barrier active all year so they can't re-establish.
Quarterly planRodents come in every fall through gaps around pipes, vents and the foundation. Cole's inspects the attic, garage and crawl space, removes them, and seals the entry points so they don't come back.
Rodent controlCole's has served families stationed at Barksdale Air Force Base since 1994. We offer a military discount and are familiar with the schedules and short-notice needs that come with active-duty assignments. Call and mention Barksdale when you schedule.
